Journals, 1806-1832.

Two journals kept on trips by John H. Farnham. The first describes an 1806 trip from Newburyport, Mass., to Boston, and from Boston by sea to Portland, Me., and on to Waterford, Me. The second describes a trip from Jeffersonville, Ind., to New England and back in 1825, with descriptions of Ohio, New York (including Niagara Falls), and Massachusetts. Also included is an account of trips taken between 1821 and 1832.
